We believe that sustainability is much more than a buzz word frequently used in environmental debates. I the shadow of a global financial crisis this conference brings attention to many aspects of sustainability. While some companies are going down others are emerging from the ashes. Participants at this conference will be facilitated in assessing this question to discovering what makes the difference – what makes a sustainable leader.
The conferences main purpose is to inspire, educate and train the participants to become sustainable leaders by providing them a 360 degree perspective of both sustainability and leadership, learn about diverse cross-cultural teamwork, entrepreneurship educational possibilities, focal points for future businesses, and expressional skills through presentations,
The conference, in addition to benefiting the participants as individual, is designed to:
Define how JA-YE Alumni is made sustainable as an organization.
Provide developing opportunities for organizing parties, in the “Learning by doing” spirit of JA-YE.
Enhance the public knowledge of the JA-YE and JA-YE Alumni brand and contributions to society.
Strengthen the connections between national JA-YE Alumni organizations
Develop material for creating a manual on planning future JAYE Alumni Conferences
Exchange knowledge and innovation across European countries.
